At Mind Nest, we understand how important it is to feel safe, understood, and supported when navigating life's challenges. That is why we have created a space where your thoughts and emotions are nurtured with care. The name "Mind Nest" reflects our philosophy: combining "Mindfulness" with "Nest" we offer a warm, secure place for mental harmony and self-discovery. Just as a nest represents safety and belonging, Mind Nest is here to help you find stability, healing, and peace - because your mind truly matters.
Healing is not just about recovery, it is about reclaiming your life and feeling empowered to move forward.
Founded by Minh Nguyen, a professionally trained and approachable psychotherapist (Minh owns a M.A. with Distinction in Psychotherapy and Counselling, he is registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation Australia), Mind Nest is a deeply personal endeavor. The brand carries Minh's initials, symbolising the care and connection at the heart of this work. Minh is dedicated to being a trustworthy companion on your recovery journey, empowering you to move forward with strength and confidence, no matter what challenges you face.
Mental health is often surrounded by the stigma that views it as a disease rather than a condition that can be managed and understood. At Mind Nest, we are working to change that. We believe mental health care goes beyond medication. It is about understanding the origins, impacts, and potential for growth that come with a condition—exploring the deeper "whys" and "hows": When did it happen? Why did it happen? What are its consequences? How can I reclaim my best life?
The proudest moment of my work was being invited by Medisetter - a Doctor Network Organisation in Vietnam to become their guest speaker for the "Multiperspectives on Recurrent Depressive Disorder", in collaboration with Hyppo Clinic (one of the most well-known and impactful psychiatric clinic in HCMC). The online seminar is designed to provide a diverse and comprehensive view of recurrent depressive disorder, from the POVs of psychiatrists, a clinical psychologist, and a ‘humanistic approach’ psychotherapist (me). With two key focus areas, the programme promises to deliver in-depth, practical, and valuable insights for doctors and mental health professionals:
1) Professional Updates: Key advancements and critical updates in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of recurrent depression.
2) Effective Communication Skills: Approaching clients with recurrent depression from the perspective of psychological professionals.
