Values
Nester is a dedicated space designed to empower students in discovering their unique qualities and cultivating their own distinct values for their future careers. Founded by five friends united by a shared vision for growth and purpose, we bring diverse experiences across various fields. Our mission is to guide and support students, or "Sparrows," throughout their academic journey and career development, helping them soar confidently towards their aspirations.
To be successful in communicating with the students, we have to cultivate patience, empathy, and self-control when working with young individuals.
After finishing high school abroad, I found myself lacking clarity and interest in choosing a university major. I was overwhelmed by complex terms and unsure about my true passions. Many students end up selecting majors influenced by their parents, which may not align with their interests or strengths.
Nester’s mission is to help students realize their dreams and reach their full potential. We strive to nurture their individuality and guide them toward universities and paths that genuinely match their aspirations, empowering them to create meaningful futures. At Nester, our goal is to guide students from discovering their passions and strengths to choosing suitable universities and courses. After graduation, we continue to support them through internship opportunities and by helping them develop their professional projects.
Although Nester has been officially operational for less than a year, we have already assisted 30 families and students in shaping their career paths, making a tangible difference in their lives and future success.
One of our main challenges has been effectively communicating with students and helping them express their true interests and strengths. Mentors often find it difficult to understand students deeply and to encourage them to open up about their dreams.
Additionally, translating those dreams into actionable plans and convincing parents can be complex. From my experiences, to be successful in communicating with the students. We have to cultivate patience, empathy, and self-control when working with young individuals. Building trust and understanding is essential to guiding them towards fulfilling their potential.
