At VertZero, we develop digital carbon accounting and ESG solutions that enable organizations to measure, report, and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions in alignment with global standards such as the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1. Our approach creates enduring environmental and economic impact, turning sustainability from an abstract ideal into a measurable, actionable, and financially relevant priority.
Creating impact in an emerging field requires more than just tech. It takes persistence, clarity, and strong partnerships.
As the Co-founder of VertZero, I was motivated by the growing need for climate action in Vietnam and across ASEAN. Many organizations, especially banks and corporations, face pressure to measure and disclose greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, but struggle due to scattered data and limited tools. VertZero was created to close this gap, offering a user-friendly, science-based solution to help them meet net-zero goals. One of my proudest moments was seeing VertZero win national and international awards such as Make in Vietnam, Sao Khuê, and the Stevie Awards. More importantly, the software is now trusted by major Vietnamese banks and corporations, proving that local innovation can tackle global climate challenges.

Building VertZero wasn’t easy. ESG and GHG reporting are still new concepts in Vietnam, and many businesses see them as a cost, not an opportunity. Early conversations were often met with hesitation or resistance. On top of that, the regulations are still evolving, which means our team has had to stay flexible, constantly learning, updating features, and educating clients. These challenges taught me that creating impact in an emerging field requires more than just tech; it takes persistence, clarity, and strong partnerships. Our mission goes beyond software: we want to build a culture of accountability and sustainability in every business we support.
