Song An empowers learners and workers to be autonomous in their career development journeys through a science-backed career services model delivered by Vietnam’s largest network of trained career practitioners.
Being a pioneer means I often have to carve my own path without examples to follow.
I chose to pursue a helping profession, specifically in career development counseling-because I see how it directly impacts people’s overall wellbeing. Research confirms, and my own experience shows, that career development plays a vital role in a person’s holistic health and happiness. That’s why I’ve stayed committed to this field.
The biggest challenge I face in Vietnam is twofold: I have to both educate people about the importance of career development and encourage them to actually use career services. These two goals must happen at the same time, which is not easy-especially as one of the pioneers in this field.

Our work at Sông An has made a significant impact on the field of career development and the broader community in Vietnam. To date, over 142,000 individuals have directly benefited from our career education and counseling solutions. We have trained 2,049 career practitioners and teachers, expanding the reach of quality career guidance across the country.
We have hosted five national and international career development conferences, contributing to professional discourse and knowledge-sharing in the field. Our team has conducted 1,894 personalized counseling sessions for individuals and families, offering tailored support to help people navigate important life and career decisions.
In addition, more than 10,500 users have accessed our free learning materials and courses. We are proud that clients from 63 out of 63 provinces in Vietnam have engaged with Sông An’s programs and services, demonstrating our nationwide impact.
